In order to maximize the value Essentials provides, each 35-minute session will focus on delivering new content or strategies rather than reviewing old ones. Accordingly, there will be no formal homework assigned during the course.
That said, we highly encourage students to continue their prep work outside of our session times, and will direct students towards high-value resources to help them continue to practice and learn. -
As the name suggests, this course is designed to familiarize students with the test content, strategy, and digital tools to provide a good foundation for growth on the SAT. It will set students up for success, but will not provide comprehensive instruction.
To put it another way, we’ll show you how to dribble, juggle, and shoot and even give you some key plays, but you’ll need to go out to practice and refine your skills if you want to be a top soccer player. -
We’re happy to discuss the content of this programming with you and how to incorporate this programming into your larger prep and testing plan.
Because this is a Merion Mercy offering, all questions about eligibility to join, scheduling, attendance requirements, and where on campus to log in should be directed to the wonderful Merion Mercy college counselors.
